How to Use Simple Flashcards

Get started in three easy steps

1

Get Your Cards in JSON Format

If your flashcards aren't already in JSON format, use an AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude to format them.

Sample prompt:

"Convert these study notes into flashcard JSON format: [{"front": "Q", "back": "A"}]"

Example JSON format:

[
  {"front": "What is React?", "back": "A JavaScript library"},
  {"front": "What is JSX?", "back": "JavaScript XML syntax"}
]
2

Paste and Load Your Deck

Paste your flashcard JSON in the text box and press "Load Flashcards" to start studying.

Tip: Give your deck a name to easily identify it later!

3

Start Learning

Tap cards to flip them, navigate with Previous/Next buttons, and track your progress.

  • Use the Edit button to modify cards or add new ones
  • Access your saved decks from the My Decks area
  • Browse pre-made decks and customize them on the Explore page
  • Switch between light/dark mode and choose from multiple theme palettes for a personalized study experience
